Time for a Beer

am - 30 min stairs

pm - 8 miles - This was a really nice run and I would have liked to have had some more time to extend this out to 16 or 20 miles. This was basically effortless and why I run.

Because It Doesn't Remind Me of Anything

I like running barefoot in the Dark and totally agree with this post by BFG.

Doubles Again

am - 30 min stairs plus some work in the gym

pm - 4 quick miles - 1 mile warmup, 2 miles uptempo, 1 mile cool down

weight - 212 and that is down from the 216 that I carried into RR. I was down to 208 going into Cajun Coyote and that was down from a max of 240. I would like to get back down to around 208 for Grasslands and then ultimately get down to 185 - 190 for Cactus Rose.

Goal - 50 miles
Actual - 30 miles and 1.75 hours stair repeats

Skipped the planned Saturday morning run of 20 miles b/c I was lazy and couldn't get out of bed at 4 am and then the rest of the day never really presented an opportunity to get out. I was probably due a rest day after 13 straight days of running (I count running up and down stairs as running but just don't give it a mileage figure) but it would have probably been wiser to take off on Friday. I am going to be looking for 75 miles this week as I continue the slow post Rocky Raccoon build up.
